‘Be captivated by Greer Taylor’s extraordinary book of poetry brought to life on stage, screen and through sound/music.

Greer Taylor is a poet, sculptor, artist and is recently known for her public sculpture ‘phases’ in the forecourt of the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. Ephemeral at The Nowra Gallery and Ghost Treesin The Wollongong Botanical Gardens.

This is a book launch like no other.
With a vibrant cast of 3 actor/dancer/singer/musicians, you will be under the spell of ‘Lover Earth’ as Greer’s poetry is performed both live and on screen. The night features south coast performers Isabella Gallant, (Mamma Mia TPAC) Matt Girdlestone (Mamma Mia TPAC)as our ‘lovers’, Olivia Hodgkins ( Breaking Point her debut short film) as ‘Cacophony’, Greer Taylor as herself and Jillian O’Dowd voicing Mother Earth’. The night also features music by singer song writer Baxter Stone, a short film by filmmaker Harry Kielly ( Bondi Flickerfest Finalist ) and photography by physicist Joseph Horvat.
Under the experienced stage direction and voice narration of Jillian O’Dowd ( ABC Guess How Much I Love You narrator and bluebird, Ghosting The Party Griffin Theatre Co. Sydney 2022 and drummer/singer for Baxter Stone) as Mother Earth, you will experience our visceral human connection with nature and loss through the heart of poetry and multi media immersion.
Running time for the event is 60 minutes followed by an optional book and individual poem signing/purchasing with our poet Greer herself.
Complimentary tea and coffee/mineral water will be available for this 30 minute after show period.
