 ‘Sweet Beats & Blues’.

This is a rocking night of Australian sweet beats and blues featuring music artists who have played alongside some of the ‘greats’ internationally and know how to captivate their local South Coast audience. It’s an awesome party in the classic 1870 School of Arts Hall in Cambewarra. 

Come listen, chat, nibble and have a drink. Then boogie the night away to this sassy line up of musical passion and rockin’ tunes.

The Line Up….

Baxter Stone and the Chocolate Dogs. – Baxter Stone on lead guitar/vocals, Jillian O’Dowd on drums/vocals, and Adrian Morgan on bass guitar. Their unique sound combines rock, blues, alt-country and rockabilly, with a touch of the psychedelicBS & The CD’s released their album ‘Barking Up The Wrong Tree’ in November 2017, recorded with Ben Moore at the Shark Island Institute. This album has a digital release, on Spotify and Itunes, with national airplay. In February 2018, a revamped and remastered version of Baxter’s Slowburning album recorded in London was internationally released. The band members in their time have shared a stage with Icehouse, Paul Kelly, The Warumpi Band, Weddings Parties Anything, Pseudo Echo, Chrissy Amphlett and many more.

Frank Sultana– Frank’s been releasing quality blues music since his first album’ Blues from the Lost Motel’, in 2011, right through to the glorious singles, ‘Loving you’, and the rockin’ blues of ‘Walk Away’, both released in 2017. Whether he is solo or fronting his band, chances are that Frank will or already has wowed audiences near you. Over the last few years Frank has shared the stage with international artists like Gary Clarke Jnr, Tony Joe White, Canned Heat & the New Power Generation as well as Australian greats like Diesel, Ian Moss, James Reyne and many more.

Jeremy Butterworth – Jeremy Butterworth is a principal songwriter and guitarist/vocalist, of the highly acclaimed Red Eye Records indie band The Bhagavad Guitars . His new album  ‘Together We Arrive’ is an exhilarating collection of solo, acoustic versions of both his own material and his favourite Bhagavad Guitars tracks rooted in an indie/alternative vein but given a new perspective, in a smooth, rich and soulful format.  He is an enduring indie rocker who is well known for the way he brings an exciting and unique blend of musical skill and playfulness to the stage, creating an inspiring art of delivering emotionally charged performances fuelled with passion and a refreshing honesty.

The jAm tArts – Deb Burwood on Vocals, guitar and double bass and Miss Robbie Allen on Congas, Djembe and backing vocals. Two fabulous women who play a mix of country, blues and Roots music. They won second at Shoalhaven unearthed and headlined at The International Women’s day concert.
