In the early 1970’s, artists Guy Warren and Bert Flugelman were looking for land on the South Coast. They dropped into the Jamberoo Hotel, had a chat with the locals over a beer or two and in good time were told of adjoining blocks at the head of the Jamberoo valley for sale. Since then ‘that particular bit of bush has been a constant source of ideas, imagery and energy’ for Guy Warren’s work.
