Heroic Master of Pens Drawing Classes

Do you have a character from your own imaginings that you have always wanted to draw? Did the thought of creating not only the character but the world they live in make you excited? Have you been inspired by another artist to create your own stories? Well I answered yes to all three of these questions. If you did too, then come along to the Character Project Workshops in Nowra this December.

There you work with me (the Heroic Master Of Pens / HMOP) to either start a character from scratch or develop one you have created further. We will do this through;

• looking at the  body proportions and shapes of a human(oid)

• discussing and experimenting with different drawing styles and creative media.

• drafting a character and creating a mythology or narrative around it.

• drawing with like minded peeps, talking and above all – having fun!

This workshop is for ages 5 and up. Working in groups and individually we will help each other to express our ideas as part of an awesome creative experience where you hopefully leave with a better understanding of your imaginative character creating potential.

MORNING SESSION 10am-12pm for 5 to 9 years

AFTERNOON SESSION 3pm-5pm 10 years and up
