All the way from Yukon, in North West Canada, Gordie Tentrees brings his heartfelt songs to Braidwood for one night only at the National Theatre on his Mean Old World Australian tour.

Tentrees has been a prize boxer, youth worker and teacher, finding his calling as a songwriter, storyteller and multi-instrumentalist. He’s performed over 750 concerts in 11 countries over the last four years, winning friends and fans every step of the way.

For this special one-off show, Gordie Tentrees will be trading tunes with local songwriters Michael Simic and Trent Arkleysmith.

Simic has packed houses from the Sydney Opera House to London’s West End, as a solo performer and with his long term band Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen. He’s released 13 albums, garnering critical acclaim and building a dedicated national and international following.

Before moving to Majors Creek, Trent Arkleysmith was based in Vienna for 20 years, touring Europe and Asia and bringing his incredible musicality to circus shows, street theatre and musical comedy. With partner Rachel Johnston, he formed Two If By Sea to pursue his abiding love of folk music.
