How do we find courage when climate change overwhelms us? Award-winning science reporter and South Coast local, Jonica Newby has written a magical, often funny and deeply moving personal story that explores how to navigate the emotional turmoil of climate change. Written during the apocalyptic bushfires that ripped though much of our South Coast bushland in 2019-2020, Newby’s story is personal, raw and relatable.
Dr Jonica Newby is a science reporter, author, speaker, TV presenter and director, best known for her two decades on ABC TV’s popular weekly science program, Catalyst. She has twice won Australia’s most prestigious science journalism award, the Eureka Prize, and is recipient of a World TV Award.
