Join us for a special screening of the classic Australian film, The Dish. as we celebrate National Science Week – Destination Moon: More Missions More Science.
Featuring special guest speaker, Dr John Harris, who will share how Parkes Observatory celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the first lunar landing and their role in it.
Tickets $15, includes a complimentary drink and nibbles before screening.
This is a fundraising event for the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, generously supported by Huskission Pictures.

The Dish is about how a remote Australian community, populated by quirky characters, plays a key role in the first Apollo moon landing. Directed by Rob Sitch, starring Sam Neil. Rated PG 13+
Pre-event drinks and nibbles commence at 2pm. Dr John Harris will make his presentation at 2.30pm, to be followed by movie screening.
