Sol Presents…Bombie Pop-up Gig: Moussa Diakite & Wassado CD Launch

Sol are launching our first Bombie Pop up gig on July 1st at the CWA Hall in Stanwell Park.

As you would be aware the Bombie was closed down at Christmas time. We received amazing support at our Anita’s Theatre fundraising gig and the feedback we had was that people miss the community ‘get together’ and ‘socialising’ that the Bombie offered.

So we have decided to do a series of pop-up gigs leading into summer to keep the Bombie community spirit alive.

We are delighted to have Malian guitarist Moussa Diakite and the band Wassado to launch their new cd, Doncomodja, fusing traditional Malian styles of blues, jazz, Cuban and Afro Rock creating an excite and dynamic mix.

They will be supported by local world music dj’s Nautilus Sound for a night of West African flavoured dance vibes.

In the true essence of world fusion we will also have Mexican food available provided by the crew from Uluwatu Blue.
