Shared Pathways: Re-imagining The Wool Road exhibition emerges out of several years of research, and community consultation.

This exhibition features works inspired by landscape, history, language, and community stories. The Wool Road was built in 1841 over seven months by graziers from the Monaro High Plains using convict labour. They needed to find a way to get their wool to Sydney.

The exhibition presents the largely unknown story of how the European settlers were assisted by the First Nation’s peoples to find the best route to the sea, as told  by proud Yuin man, Myangah (Sea Eagle) Pirate, one of the artists in this exhibition.
