A lot of people have been asking about a return to El Horses, and the answer is :When summer returns!…….. and it’s going to be a humdinger as they celebrate the first weekend of Summer with a full tilt boogie and LAUNCH OF THEIR FIRST STUDIO ALBUM , “MAPLESS”.
These 10 originals were recorded in Nowra at Stella Studios, with Syd Green at the helm! This will be a big band on the night, with a full horn section and some very special guests to celebrate the official start of summer and the launch…
The band has been busy since releasing their first album in September, which is a live “bootheel” disc and download. Live at El Horses 2022-2023- “ A Horse can lead you to….” was recorded over the last 2 years at this awesome venue,….. who knows, you may be on it! We will be featuring songs from both albums…. this is our last gig of the year, and the El Horses celebrations are always energetic nights, so bring your dancing shoes and help us celebrate!!
The Cadillac continues to evolve into a big band with a palette of sounds from Chicago based blues, to raw Mississipppi stomps, and a healthy dose of original swampy country blues, and funk from those southern regions.
