EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
Stella Studioz and South Coast Tickets are beyond honoured to announce that the wonderfully talented, Damian Wright, will be visiting us on Saturday, 9th of November for a FLAMENCO GUITAR WORKSHOP for ALL ages and abilities from 12:30pm-2:30pm!
This workshop will present the flamenco guitar style by discussing the techniques & rhythms, which are all applicable to and helpful for developing varying guitar styles. The workshop is also highly interactive with examples given on guitar as well as rhythmic examples through the tradition of palmas (handclaps).
And, a brief history of the flamenco guitar will be presented with an emphasis on it’s cultural context and evolution.
