Community Cultural Celebration

Saturday 18th March the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum celebrates Aboriginal culture with a program of events to farewell the Walking Through a Songline exhibition. Choose which events you wish to attend!

10:30am: Talk. Join Bob Fuller, researcher and astronomer to discover the project underway to reawaken the Black Duck Songline – a significant songline for the Saltwater Aboriginal people of the NSW Coast which includes our local area. Ticket price includes Museum entry.

11:30am: Free Corroboree. Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony, digeridoo and corroboree by Gadhungal Murring. Free.

1:00pm: Bush Tucker Tour. Explore the local native gardens and bush with Raymond Timbery. Ticket price includes Museum entry.

Lunch Try a crocodile or kangaroo sausage sizzle from our fundraising BBQ!
