Event Details

Northern rivers singer song-writer Bethanie Jolly is an exciting new talent emerging on the music scene, and more excitingly, she is about to embark on her first ever tour to celebrate the recording of her first ever album in December! Writing songs has become something much more than just a favourite past-time for Bethanie. ‘These songs emerge like tracks carved in the soil as we walk through life; the threads weaving my life together, piece by piece, into the ever-evolving tapestry that is my story,’ she says. ‘Life is a song. And it’s really important we each sing our unique song to the world, however it sounds!’ Bethanie first began writing songs as a young teenager growing up in the small north-coast town of Bellingen.

There she was lucky to meet talented musician Luke Rhodes, who became her music mentor. Luke is one of those people who seems to just have music embedded deep in his bones. Bethanie would bring a song to his music studio, and they would jam on it for hours. Slowly he encouraged her to start doing gigs. Now, some 10 years later, Luke and Bethanie are reuniting to embark on their ‘Making Tracks Tour’. Joining them will be fellow Bello musicians Tyler Nakoa and Holly Mae show-casing a range of songs from Tyler’s new album: ‘Throw Your Stone’. Expect a special evening of shared songs and stories that will leave you feeling warmed and moved in all the right places.
