On a personal level Benny Fowler and George Bishop have one of those ethereal brotherhoods that defies words. On a musical level, when you get both in the same room with guitars the result is electrifying. Both are renowned songsmiths in their own right, both hail from the same small country town and both studied under the same guitar teacher. It sounds like a script from the Twilight Zone, but it’s no wonder that when they met later in life their music melded so naturally.
It has been nearly two years since they have seen each other. George has been living off the grid north of Broome; Ben in an off the grid in the Solomon Islands….. both writing new material about their experiences. Relax at Soulbird for their only Wollongong appearance! Kids are welcome and free.
