Bedtime Stories with Lajos and Lilli

Gather for an evening of oral storytelling. Lilli has been delighting ears and hearts for decades in the Illawarra and around the world. This is the first of her curated Bedtime story events. Telling wonder tales she will be joined by good friend and storyteller Lajos.

Lajos has been performing for children for over 25 years as part of the Blue Cow Childrens Theatre and the dynamic duo Gobsmacked! Performing at folk & community arts festivals, libraries and school events Lajos spins tales from his Hungarian heritage and beyond. Tales of good and daft magic in stories such as Mr Sausage Nose, The Wishing Skin and How the Ukulele Got its Strings have entertained children, as well as adults. The best rating of “Two Snots!” given at the National Folk Festival by one happy young punter.

Being at The wonderful Phoenix Theatre means Steen will create a tea for the event and have hot cocca ready for purchase. Snuggle in and delight taste buds and ears as a family and community.
