Hyams Beach Cafe
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT, BUT YOU CAN STILL DONATE TO THE FUNDRAISER- CALL KERRY ON 0423 844 622
Food, film, art and music all wrapped up in one at Hyams Beach Cafe. Your participation will contribute to a humanitarian volunteer program supporting a just peace in Israel and Occupied Palestine.
Remember the freedom riders in America in the early 60s and Australia in 1965? What about the Anti Apartheid Movement in South Africa? Consider the unarmed civilian presence today throughout the world responding to human rights violations and then take your mind to Occupied Palestine and Israel today. The not for profit human rights based aid agency, Act for Peace, operates a volunteer program in Australia, supporting a humanitarian presence in Israel and Occupied Palestine.
Chris, Sue and Phoebe Alison of Hyams Beach Cafe, Walkley Award winning film producer Sylvie Le Clezio, artist Glen Preece, musicians Tina Broad and Hamish Richardson have pulled up their humanitarian boots to support Kerry Sawtell’s deployment – as a volunteer civilian presence – to Jerusalem and The West Bank in February, 2019.
Raising funds for this journey is the Hyams Beach Cafe event – a story, a painting, a song with food and drink to go down smooth.
