Songwriter Martha Marlow grew up in a musical household, and from an early age began writing and performing on the guitar. Her open tunings, intricate arrangements and pure voice are trademarks of her unique sound. She has toured with Katie Noonan and has performed alongside the likes of Clare Bowditch, Angie Heart (Frente) and Matt Corby.

Martha recorded her unique and moving vocal and guitar version of Randy Newman’s ‘It feels like Home” for the highly acclaimed award winning QANTAS campaign which she performed live in the USA for the ‘G’day L.A’ awards.

Most recently, Martha Marlow has performed her original compositions with the Australian Youth Orchestra touring nationally.  In 2016 she received an Australian Arts council and PPCA grant to undertake a major recording project of her own songs with the Australian Youth Orchestra to be undertaken in  2017.

Martha is also an accomplished visual artist and parallels her musical life with study at the National Art School in Sydney.
She is currently working on her recording project of her songs with Orchestra.

“It is just so wonderful to see a young woman in this Industry who is not only an accomplished, emotive and beautiful singer, but who’s song writing shows us who we are, how we feel, what moves us and what our culture has become.” Jenny Morris (Two time Aria Award winner and Holder of the Medal of the Order of Australia).

“Every now and then, in a male dominated industry and a traditionally male dominated field, one catches up with a female musician who blows your socks off.. at once new and traditional (think laurel Canyon in 1969). She introduces you to her intuitive musical world. Absolutely recommended if you need something effervescent to lift a heavy spirit.’Steve Kilbey– (The Church, inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame)
