Sue DeMarco & Gordon Sanger not only lost their home during the 2020 bushfires but now more than 3 years on, they have been left with nothing more than an unlivable dwelling and all their money siphoned from them by a now deregistered builder who promised the world..

The Gig is to raise funds to help them insulate and cover the externals of the house. It is about having a great night with great people dancing the night away! @ $40 a ticket Family friendly (kids free) you get it all.. food and great music

The night will Commence with simple BBQ food from 5;30 to 7pm then music shall start with Djembe Forte who may even play outside near the outside fire and Cantina before ChangoTree kick off inside followed by Mojo…These bands are of the best calibre and have volunteered for free.

ChangoTree

Chango’s Debut album “Home” made # 1 and Tomorrow made #6 on the AMRAP, AirIt Regional charts in 2019, reviewed masterfully by Rhythms Magazine.

In the past few years and ChangoTRee, have song-hopped the globe, travelling, recording, writing and performing shows in Canada, New Orleans, Texas, Ireland, New York, UK & France.

Here in Oz, they have now settled locally and have been touring with their new album “Postcards From Tomorrow” through Rural Vic, the East Coast of Oz, then back off to Canada.

Festivals of note:  Wangaratta Jazz Blues Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival and Cairns Tablelands Folk Roots Festivals.

The “Muse”, is magical roots, blues-cruise, funky-folk with a smash of harmonies, swampy grooves with echoes of “Rasta” Reggae

“ChangoTree” is fronted by the brilliant and unique male/female songwriting ‘extra terrestials.’ It’s shooting acoustic 8 string, parlour, resonator guitars, mandolin, drums and percussion.

*Plus they and we are spoilt in having the highly acclaimed Casey Green playing sax and flute like only he can..

ChangoTree  for this fundraiser will be rockin the house down playing a lot of their outstanding originals as well as some favourite covers..     www.changotree.com.au
